It's almost time for the Hardy Plant Society's March into Spring event "Share our Garden." It will be held at the Delaware County Community College in Media, PA on March 27th, 2010. This year's event features Lori Hayes uncovering the Urban Garden, Kelly Norris illuminating Iridaceae, Bill Barnes savoring Seed Collection and Felder Rushing parleying Passalong Plants. This promises to be one of our best programs ever!  While acquiring useful info and tips from our knowledgeable speakers, visit guest vendors and bid on auction items. Vendors include the ever popular, Marian Martin and Rare Find, Pine Knot Farms (famous for their hellebores) and Emily Cohen. The silent auction is a literal treasure hunt as attendees bid on plants, gift certificates, and unique garden tools. The money raised by the silent auction funds educational programs, free lectures, and grants. Lunch is catered by Honey-baked Ham. For a registration form, go to www.hardyplant.org to print the brochure and email it to your friends. The Hardy Plant Society’s purpose is to cultivate, foster, and promote interest and participation in horticulture, so come "Share your Garden."

A Fun-Raiser: HPS/MAG offers an additional event this year: 'tis the Friday Night Before March Into Spring Dinner. Our first ever speaker's dinner will be an "on your own" dinner at Otto's Brauhaus in Horsham, PA followed by Felder Rushing discussing food. With over a dozen vegetable books to his credit, Felder has lots to share about sustainable gardening. There is limited seating so you must be pre-registered--go to www.hardyplant.org and click on "more details."

Thank you for your consideration,
